The Bullied was the stereotypical short, thin and timid classmate that the predators love to prey on.

For most of this semester the Bullied had hidden near the bus stop and bolted towards the retractable bus doors as soon as they opened. He grabbed the closest seat to the bus driver as this gave him some protection from the Bully.

The Bully would still punch him very hard in the head as he passed by.

But one day, the Bullied ran to the very back of the bus.

Everyone, including the bus driver, was wondering if he had lost all of his marbles?

Didn’t he realize that this was the moment the Bully was waiting for?

Did he suddenly have a death wish? Yes, but not the usual kind.

The Bully saw him on the backseat. He stood on a seat near the front and turned the surveillance camera far enough to one side that the “action” would not be recorded.

He laid into the Bullied very heavy, splitting his lip, and making his ears swell from hitting them so hard with an open palm.

He broke two ribs.

The beating continued until they pulled into the high school driveway.

The Bully turned his back, feeling invincible. He never wore a backpack, which was an important component to the Bullied’s plan.

The Bullied got up and stood directly behind the Bully.

The line slowly moved as the kids got off the bus.

The Bullied pulled a can of lighter fluid out of his pocket.

It had a small yellow piece that you pulled up with a small hole in it.

This was usually used to moisten the cotton in an old school flint lighter.

Today though, the Bullied was using this to completely saturate the back of the Bully’s jacket and long hair hanging over his jacket collar.

They approached the steps leading out of the bus and the Bullied removed the lighter fluid’s cap.

The Bully stepped on the bottom step about to make his exit.

The Bullied was one step above.

Holding a lit lighter now in his left hand, he dumped the entire remaining contents of the lighter fluid on the front of the Bully’s head, where it covered most of his face.

Before the Bully could even react, the Bullied he set him ablaze.

It was glorious.

The bus driver smiled broadly.

Some eyewitness statements:

Suzie Simmons, who was standing to the left of the bus door later said: “From the side it looked like a flaming upside down U from his belt buckle to his ass crack.

Billy Kaperski, the Bully’s best friend said: “We were never really friends. What are you talking about? I hardly know him.

Gabe Pascal said: “I will never forget the smell of his burning flesh.

Tina Gallagher said: “Surprised it took Timmy so long to fight back. Proud of him.

The Bully cried and wailed and ran in no certain direction.

He slapped his face but that was futile. It was completely engulfed.

He had the presence of mind to try to unzip his jacket, but his jacket was already melted into the zipper in a blob of molten polyester.

No one was sure what to do.

Mrs. Flanagan, the volunteer bus monitor, was the closest adult to the Bully when he was on fire.

But she didn’t like the Bully so she suddenly forgot to take off her coat and cover his head.

Mrs. Flanagan was his only and best chance of leading a normal life. If Mrs. Flanagan had simply covered his head with her jacket, the fire engulfing the Bully's head would have been exstinguished. His eyes, lips and nose would have remained mostly intact.

And his lungs wouldn't have suffered an 80% reduction in breathing capacity.

Mrs. Flanagan, when questioned about this by close friends, said: “Assholes must have consequences.

He almost killed Timmy Jenkins so many times and the school did nothing.

As I watched his face drip away like melting plastic, I knew he would never Bully anyone again.

I saved many other lives allowing him to melt.

No amount of Stop-Drop-And-Roll was going to stop him from being disfigured.

The Bully finally ran into a wooden rail fence and fell over it and knocked himself unconscious.

Finally some students covered him with their jackets.

Unfortunately, for the Bully, he did survive.

Timmy walked to first period.

He eventually heard the distant sound of police and ambulance sirens.

He smiled at what he had wrought.

After he was discharged from the hospital, the police took him in for questioning.

Timmy just said: “I want my lawyer.

At the trial, the jury viewed the pictures and x-rays of Timmy’s injuries the morning of the incident.

They heard student eyewitness testimony corroborating it all.

He was found not guilty. The jury, who all had had their share of bullies, ruled that Timmy had acted in self defense.

Mrs. Flanagan gave a standing ovation from the back of the courtroom.
